ဆြစ္ဇာလန္ ႏိုင္ငံ ဆိုတာ ကမာၻ႕ေဘာလံုး အဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ ဖီဖာေရာ၊ ဥေရာပ ေဘာလံုး အဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္ UEFA ပါ ရံုးစိုက္ထားတဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဖီဖာက ဇူးရစ္ၿမိဳ႕မွာ ရံုးခ်ဳပ္ကို တည္ထားၿပီး UEFA က ႏိုင္ယြန္ ၿမိဳ႕မွာ ရံုးခ်ဳပ္ တည္ထားပါတယ္။ ဘာေၾကာင့္လဲ ဆိုေတာ့ ဆြစ္ဇာလန္ဟာ ဥေရာပရဲ႕ အသည္းႏွလံုးလို႔ ေခၚရမယ့္ ေနရာေလာက္မွာ တည္ရွိေနၿပီး ဥေရာပ ႏိုင္ငံ အားလံုးနဲ႔ ဆက္သြယ္ေရး အဆင္ေျပ လို႔ပါ။ ဒါေပမယ့္လည္း ဆြစ္ဇာလန္ အသင္းဟာ ကမာၻ႕ဖလား ၿပိဳင္ပြဲမွာေရာ၊ ဥေရာပ ဖလား ၿပိဳင္ပြဲမွာပါ ေအာင္ျမင္မႈ မည္မည္ရရ မရခဲ့တာကို ေတြ႕ရပါတယ္။ ၁၉၃၄နဲ႔ ၁၉၃၈ ၿပိဳင္ပြဲေတြ၊ ၁၉၅၄ ခုႏွစ္က အိမ္ရွင္အျဖစ္ လက္ခံ က်င္းပရတဲ့ ၿပိဳင္ပြဲတို႔မွာ ကြာတားဖိုင္နယ္ တက္ႏိုင္ခဲ့တာက လြဲၿပီး က်န္ပြဲေတြမွာ အုပ္စု အဆင့္ကေတာင္ မေက်ာ္ႏိုင္ ခဲ့တာကို ေတြ႕ရပါတယ္။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ဆြစ္ဇာလန္ဟာ ကစားသမားေကာင္း ေပါမ်ားတဲ့ ႏိုင္ငံ တစ္ႏုိင္ငံလည္း ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။

ဆြစ္ဇာလန္ အသင္းဟာ ဥေရာပ ေျခစစ္ပြဲ အုပ္စု(၂) ကေန ပါ၀င္ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္ ခဲ့ရၿပီး ဂရိ၊ လတ္ဗီးယား၊ အစၥေရး၊ လူဇင္ဘတ္၊ ေမာ္လ္ဒိုဗာ အသင္းေတြနဲ႔ ရင္ဆိုင္ ခဲ့ရပါတယ္။ စုစုေပါင္း ပြဲစဥ္ ၁၀ ပြဲ ကစားရာမွာ ၆ ပြဲႏိုင္၊ ၃ ပြဲသေရ က်ခဲ့ၿပီး ၁ ပြဲသာ ရံႈးနိမ့္ခဲ့တာ ေတြ႕ရပါတယ္။ အထူးသျဖင့္ အဓိက ၿပိဳင္ဘက္ ျဖစ္တဲ့ ဂရိ အသင္းကို အိမ္ကြင္း အေ၀းကြင္း ႏွစ္ေက်ာ့စလံုး အႏိုင္ရခဲ့ပါတယ္။ ဒါေၾကာင့္ အုပ္စု ပထမ ရခဲ့ၿပီး တိုက္ရိုက္ ၀င္ခြင့္ ရခဲ့တာ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ဆြစ္ဇာလန္ရဲ႕ တိုက္စစ္မွဴး အလက္ဇႏၵား ဖရိုင္းနဲ႔ အန္ကူဖိုး တို႔ဟာ ေျခစစ္ပြဲ ေတြမွာ ေျခစြမ္းျပၿပီး ဂိုးအမ်ားဆံုး အေရးပါတဲ့ ဂိုးေတြ သြင္းေပးခဲ့ ၾကပါတယ္။
